Offer Terms
£0 Setup Website Terms and Conditions
Last updated: March 28, 2026
These terms apply specifically to the £0 Setup Website offer provided by Sitemade. They sit alongside our wider website and service terms and are intended to make the scope of this offer clear before a build begins.
This page is a practical commercial summary for the offer and should not be treated as legal advice. If your business needs legal certainty on any point, you should take independent advice before proceeding.
1. The offer
The £0 Setup Website is a direct-signup website offer with no upfront build fee.
The offer is built around monthly service pricing rather than a one-off build invoice. Work begins once the required information has been supplied and the agreed monthly payment is active.
2. What is included
- one focused 1-page website
- custom-built layout tailored to the business
- portal access for billing, account management, and support
- hosting and routine support within the monthly plan
- privacy policy and boilerplate terms pages as starter content
Package capabilities differ. Starter Site customers use the portal for account management and request-led updates. Business Site customers also get portal CMS access for content and image editing, with larger changes still handled as requests.
The offer is designed to stay intentionally lean. It is not intended for complex websites, booking systems, e-commerce, or larger multi-page builds.
3. Monthly fee
There is no upfront build fee. The ongoing monthly charge depends on the package selected at signup unless otherwise agreed in writing.
The monthly fee covers continued hosting, access to the platform, and reasonable ongoing support for the included site. Monthly billing starts before build begins.
4. Domain names
Domain registration is not included in the monthly fee.
If you already own a domain, you remain responsible for keeping it active and under your control.
If you want us to source or help set up a domain name, that may involve an additional charge.
5. Content and client responsibilities
You must provide accurate business information and any content, images, branding, or logos needed to complete the project.
You confirm that you have permission to use all materials you supply and that they do not infringe the rights of others.
Delays in supplying content, required information, or feedback may extend the delivery timeline.
6. Timeline and revisions
Our typical delivery window for this offer is around one week from the point at which we have the materials we need and the monthly payment is active, although more complex handovers can take longer.
We include up to 3 major revision rounds after the first draft. Further revision work or substantial change in direction may be chargeable.
7. Scope limits
This offer is for a single-page website only. The amount of content included must remain reasonable for that format.
If the required content, features, or complexity go beyond the intended scope, we may recommend a different package or quote additional work separately.
8. Ownership and platform use
You own your business content and your domain name. The website itself is hosted and managed as part of the ongoing Sitemade service.
Major layout changes, structural redevelopment, migrations, or work that falls outside the normal support scope may involve additional charges.
9. Changes after launch
After launch, Starter Site customers can request changes through the portal. Business Site customers can update normal content and images through the portal CMS and can also submit larger requests through the portal.
If you notice a non-content issue after launch, we will work with you to correct genuine faults in the delivered site.
10. Cancellation
You can cancel the ongoing monthly service through your online portal.
Cancellation ends future service, hosting, and platform access. It does not create a refund right for time already used unless we agree otherwise in writing.
11. Legal and policy pages
Privacy policy and terms pages included in this offer are boilerplate starter documents only.
They are not legal advice and may need review or replacement depending on your sector, business activities, or regulatory obligations.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sitemade will not be liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of this offer, including loss of profits, business interruption, or loss of opportunity.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
